We are conquering new heights

It is highly symbolic that the start of preparations for the New Era World Forum and the awarding of the winners of the most prestigious international public award, the Golden Chariot, in New York this December was marked by a significant event. Our heroine, who has already become the lucky mascot of our entire international team, Kristina Perestorina - a million-follower blogger, a wonderful young woman and athlete, and a laureate of the Golden Chariot Global Award 2025 from Russia - has conquered yet another peak in the Himalayas: Mera Peak.

"The flag of our forum and award has been raised to an altitude of 6,476 meters."

Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and one of the accessible six-thousanders in the Himalayas. It was named after the sacred Mount Meru (or Sumeru), which in Hinduism and Buddhism is considered the center of the universe.

From the summit, a 360-degree panoramic view opens up of five eight-thousanders: Everest (8,848 m), Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Makalu (8,485 m), and Cho Oyu (8,201 m).

Mera Peak is considered a classic training climb for preparing for higher Himalayan peaks, including Everest.

"We believe and hope that our wonderful Kristina will conquer not only the highest peaks of all continents, but will also raise our flag at the highest point on the planet — on Everest. Our congratulations to this fearless young woman and our best wishes for her to achieve her goals. Kristina dedicates her latest ascent to people who care about the fate of the planet, to all those who strive for peace and well-being for all inhabitants of the Earth."
