The Second New Era World Forum Concludes Spectacularly in Zanzibar
On December 7, 2025, the second World People's Forum «New Era. Africa. 2025» concluded its work. It was held in Tanzania, in a genuine African pearl – Zanzibar. All guests and participants from nearly 30 countries were warmly welcomed at the Blue Ocean Resort & Residences hotel, which hosted the forum's main events, including the award ceremony for the Laureates of the Golden Chariot Global Award.
The Forum unofficially began several days before its official opening. On November 29, the start was marked by Russian high-altitude mountaineer, million-follower blogger, and seemingly fragile young woman Kristina Perestoronina, who raised the flag of the forum and the Golden Chariot Global Award on the highest peak in Africa – Mount Kilimanjaro.
The exceptional level of the summit was immediately set by the highest caliber of distinguished guests: from local political leadership and heads of state structures and companies to rectors of the nation's leading universities.
Within the Forum's agenda, interesting speeches and reports were presented on a wide variety of topics: real estate and development, education and culture, tourism, and artificial intelligence. Participants shared their challenges and developments, technologies, and solutions. The reports from guests and participants will be published separately on our website a bit later.
On the second day, interest groups were formed, and guests transitioned to a B2B meeting format and technical visits.
In addition to working meetings, forum participants were offered numerous excursions and a rich cultural program.
The summit concluded with a spectacular finale. The award ceremony for the 2025 Golden Chariot Laureates was accompanied by a performance by a team of local karateka’s, who have been Tanzanian champions for the third year running.
After the bright sparring matches, a remarkable fashion show by five of the country's leading fashion houses took place on the stage that extended right into the ocean, under the rays of spotlights and floodlights. Local designers and fashion creators showcased the latest trends in the beauty industry. Each walk down the runway was met with thunderous applause from everyone present.
Following the fashion show, guests and participants were treated to an extraordinary concert, featuring Tanzania's best DJ KASIM, and his colleague Nyura, as well as the winner of numerous international competitions, holder of 4 "golden" buttons, one of the world's best imitators, Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh, whose voice made a fantastic impression on the audience.
