Dr. Alizé Utteryn is a visionary entrepreneur, global speaker, mentor, and media executive committed to empowering diaspora communities and advancing sustainable development worldwide. Originally from French Guiana and based in New York for more than 16 years, she is the Founder and CEO of AlizéLaVie, an international agency specializing in media, branding, and strategic consulting.
Since 2018, she has served as Vice President for Media & Public Affairs of the United African Congress (UAC), the premier Pan-African umbrella organization representing nearly 8 million African diaspora people across the United States. That same year, she also became Publicist to Her Excellency Cynthia “Mother” Pratt, the current Governor General of the Bahamas.
As an international business developer, Dr. Utteryn leads transformative projects that generate jobs, empower entrepreneurs, and foster innovation across Africa and the Caribbean. In 2025, she founded AlizéGreen Infra, a pioneering initiative in renewable energy, agriculture, food processing, and the pharmaceutical industry, guided by the principle “Made in Africa, for Africa’s Self-Reliance – Innovation by and for the Diaspora.” She also serves as Vice President for the Caribbean and African region at Hydron — Where Water Meets Energy — Autonomously, the world’s only provider of autonomous clean water & energy solutions, bringing resilience and sustainability to emerging markets.
Beyond AlizéLaVie, she is Director of the Global Confederation for Promotion and Development, a United Nations–affiliated NGO, and a Global Affairs Consultant for Kaveti International Law Firm. An international award-winning multimedia journalist and proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists, she is also the Founder and Publisher of AlizéLaVie Magazine, a bilingual multicultural publication that champions diversity, inclusion, cultural diplomacy, and cross-cultural dialogue.
A dedicated mentor and lecturer, Dr. Utteryn teaches Master’s students in International Trade, shaping the next generation of global leaders. Her remarkable contributions have earned her numerous distinctions, including the 2022 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Joe Biden, the titles of Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Visionary Entrepreneur of the Year in Ghana, and an Honorary Doctorate in International Business (2024).
