The main event of the Year is the New Era World Forum and the Golden Chariot Global Award ceremony.
On December 6, 2025, in Zanzibar, following the conclusion of the people’s World forum “New Era.Africa.2025” and Golden Chariot Global Award organizers of the summit made several important announcements.
"First, starting next year, 2026, it has been decided to hold the final three-day New Era World Forum and the awarding ceremony for the most prestigious international public award, the Golden Chariot, annually in December in New York, USA. In this regard, the head office of the Organizing Committee will be located in the USA."
"Second, the structure of the Organizing Committee has been modified. Its operations will now be overseen by Committee Co-Chairs, whose number shall not exceed five persons. Forum representatives in their countries will continue to perform the same functions as before."
"Third, at the request of an Organizing Committee representative from a particular country, a regional forum and the presentation of the Golden Chariot Global Award to its laureates may be held in that country within a year, but only by agreement with the Committee's Co-Chairs."
For instance, in Zanzibar, during a meeting with the President's spouse, H.E. Mariam H. Mwinyi, the First Lady proposed gathering the spouses of presidents from a number of countries alongside the world's most successful and influential women on the Zanzibar archipelago in October 2026. This proposal was warmly welcomed by all guests, participants, and, of course, the forum organizers present at the meeting.
Detailed information regarding the upcoming summit, including its venue, dates, and participation terms, must be submitted to the First Lady for approval no later than the beginning of March next year.
