Experts and members of the Organizing Committee of the World Forum “New Era” paid a working visit to Mumbai
The group of experts and members of the Organizing Committee of the World Forum New Era conducted a working visit to Mumbai from April 19th to 29th.
During numerous meetings with Indian partners and stakeholders from various countries, details of the upcoming unique event in India's business capital, scheduled for December 4th to 8th, 2024, were discussed.
Specifically, discussions involved the location of the business segment of the Forum and potential venues for artist performances and master classes. Meetings were also held with potential partners and sponsors of the Forum. During the visit, the organizing committee participated in a two-day conference titled “India and the World”, focusing on addressing logistical challenges within the North-South transport corridor.
The event was attended by Shankar Shinde, co-chairman of the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations of India (FFFAI), which comprises approximately 5,000 companies. Also, an expert from the New Era Forum in the transport sector, Secretary General of the International Coordination Council for Trans-Eurasian Transport (CCTT) Gennady Bessonov, and representatives of FESCO and other major companies in the Eurasian region attended the event.
Following numerous meetings in Mumbai, an online conference involving all interested parties is scheduled for the first half of May to thoroughly discuss all matters related to the organization of the New Era World Forum from December 4th to 8th, 2024. A comprehensive report on the trip was submitted to the Chairperson of the Forum´s Organizing Committee, Ms. Hanan Wagdy Abdelmonem Abdeltawab Khaled, who positively evaluated the outcomes of the working visit.
